Do you realize how good Miles Sanders is? I don’t think you do. So let me present my case. First, I think it’s important that you know that I am a 4x time fantasy football champion. Please check my Yahoo resume below.

Back to Miles Sanders. If you have seen the film, then you have seen the electric factory this first round pick from Penn State can be. Looking at Sanders rookie season vs McCaffrey’s rookie season. The one stat that sticks out is McCaffrey recorded 113 targets with 80 catches, 5 TD’s and averaged 8.1 yards per reception. Which is an incredible amount of volume. By the way, volume is KING in fantasy football, but that is for another conversation.
Sanders started only 11 games due to injury and a dummy coach. He was able to record 63 targets with 50 catches, 3 TD’s and averaged 10.2 yards per reception. I strongly believe Miles Sanders can be a nice early round sleeper in your Fantasy Draft this year. Possibly even a league winner 🚨
1. Sanders accounted for more rushing yards (818), yards from scrimmage (1,327), and all-purpose yards (1,641) than any first-year player in team history.
2. Sanders’ 1,641 all-purpose yards led all NFL rookies and ranked eighth in the league (fifth in the NFC). The 1,641 all-purpose yards were the most by any Eagles player since LeSean McCoy’s 2,146 in 2013.
3. Sanders’ 1,327 yards from scrimmage led all NFL rookies.
4. Since 2007, Sanders is one of only three NFL rookies to craft at least 1,300 scrimmage yards and 300 return yards joining Adrian Peterson and Alvin Kamara.
5. Sanders took advantage of his expanded role down the stretch. Over the final seven weeks of the season, Sanders was one of just six players (and the only rookie) to post at least 650 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns.
6. Sanders is one of seven rookies in NFL history to account for 800 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards. Some of the other names: Gale Sayers, Marshall Faulk, Edgerrin James, and Saquon Barkley.
7. Sanders led all rookies with 5.8 yards per touch among running backs with at least 200 touches. That average was good for third among all backs in the NFL.
8. Want explosive plays? Sanders’ 13 plays of 20 or more yards ranked tied for fourth among all NFL running backs.
9. Sanders led all NFL rookie running backs with 50 catches, 509 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns. The last Eagles rookie running back to go for at least 50 catches, 500 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns? Brian Westbrook in 2007.
